The Origin of Earth

The Origin of Earth
Formation and evolution of our planet

Five billion years ago, our solar system does not exist. There is only a cloud of dust and gas that is slowly changing shape. Nine planets, including Earth, formed from the clot material, resembling a ball of snow, in fog.

  1. The process began about 4.6 billion years ago in the solar nebula center.
  2. The sun formed at the center of this cloud. Meanwhile, gas and other materials on the outside began to clot.
  3. Small stones into a large, forming the embryo of a planet, or a protoplanet, with a diameter of several kilometers.
  4. Protoplanet each other collide with each other and agglomerate until they reach the size of the planet (having a diameter of several thousands of miles). Up to hundreds of millions of years, the planet is bombarded by a strong and continuously by other rocks.
  5. About 4.5 billion years ago, Earth was blanketed by a sea of lava that comes from the burning rocks and wide reach several kilometers.
  6. Gradually, the lava lake cooled crust forming continuously hit by meteors and comets.
  7. Our young planet also experienced by the volcanic activity which releases a radical atmosphere, the atmosphere is different from the current atmosphere. Possible existence of water comes from the depths of the Earth, or taken from space by comet and form a sea. At the same time, the Earth's crust into the continent.
  8. The emergence of continents, oceans, and low oxygen levels result in the formation of more complex molecules, which led the creation of extraordinary phenomena, namely life. Even more astounding, life was very quickly emerged from the sea, less than 1 billion years after Earth was created. Life requires a few billion years to reach the mainland. (by krisna)
